An authentic, hand-crafted modernist pendant necklace by pioneer San Francisco jeweler Peter Macchiarini. Design: Circular domed mixed-metal pendant with sculptural, organic cut-outs and a long bar bail. Signature: Hand-signed on reverse "Peter Macchiarini S.F. 70" (dated 1970). Dimensions: Pendant diameter approx. 2.25"; chain length 22.5". Chain / Clasp: Gold-tone/metallic chain with a spring ring marked "1/20 12K GF" (12K Gold Filled). Condition: Good vintage condition with original age-appropriate patina and verdigris inside the recessed cut-outs. Minor handmade surface variations as expected with studio artisan pieces.
