1920s Art Deco flapper-era evening purse. It features a heavily molded/carved cream celluloid frame depicting a large chrysanthemum bloom surrounded by foliage and fine line-engraved details. Key Features & Details Dimensions: Measures approximately 9" high x 5" wide. Frame & Clasp: Molded French ivory / celluloid top frame with an arching floral design and a top-latch closure. Bag Material: Pleated black fabric body hand-laced directly into the frame's perimeter holes. Interior: Features a bottom hinge opening to reveal a dark brown fabric lining finished with ruffled ribbon border trim and an internal pocket. Condition: Frame is in solid condition with intact detail. The interior lining shows signs of hand-stitched repairs/relining over time, making it sturdy and functional.
